A 21-year-old woman was shot and killed inside a Baltimore County home Thursday afternoon. Her boyfriend was later found at a Howard County parking garage with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Kaylie Logston was found dead inside a home in the unit block of Hillside Road in the 21228 zip code at about 3 p.m. Thursday. Baltimore County homicide detectives said that during their investigation, they learned a man who had been in a relationship with Logston was being treated at a hospital for a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
That shooting happened at a parking garage in the 10000 block of Wincopin Circle in Columbia. Howard County police said the man fired several shots into the air before shooting himself. No other injuries or property damage were reported.
The suspect is identified as 41-year-old Derrick Davis Jr. of Baltimore. Baltimore County detectives said they are not seeking any additional suspects. The investigation remains active.
