A 20-year-old was flown to a trauma center after being struck by a dirt bike Tuesday in Waldorf.
What’s Happening: Emergency crews responded to Billingsley Road and St. Francis Drive at approximately 8:38 p.m. on April 14 after a pedestrian was hit by a dirt bike.
What’s Important: First responders say the patient was alert when responders arrived and had serious injuries including a possible broken leg and arm. Medical crews classified the patient as Priority 2, meaning the injuries were serious but not immediately life-threatening. Maryland State Police Aviation Command Trooper 2 flew the patient to MedStar Washington Hospital Center.
