A 34-year-old Oxon Hill man was arrested Friday after police say he exposed himself and touched a woman inside a store at Festival Way Shopping Center.
What Happened: Officers responded to a business at the shopping center at 7 p.m. on April 11 after receiving a report of indecent exposure. Police say Cory Rashid Simpson was seen performing a lewd act while standing in the shoe department. A second person reported someone touched her buttocks and saw Simpson standing behind her.
What’s Important: Simpson left the store before officers arrived, but patrol officers found and arrested him nearby. He was charged with disorderly conduct/indecent exposure and assault.
What Changed: A district court commissioner released Simpson from the Charles County Detention Center on personal recognizance shortly before midnight on April 11.
