A man is in custody after a string of burglaries across Baltimore County and a early-morning chase that ended when Harford County deputies tracked down his getaway vehicle.

What’s Happening: Baltimore County police say the suspect is connected to multiple burglaries in the Catonsville, Towson, and Parkville areas dating back to May 25, 2026. The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.

What We Know: Just after 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to the 8600 block of Loch Raven Blvd in Towson for a burglary in progress. Officers found the suspect had stolen an ATM and fled in a U-Haul. Police briefly pursued the vehicle before calling off the chase.

The Harford County Sheriff’s Office later found the U-Haul inside their jurisdiction and took the man into custody.
