A 14-year-old boy was stabbed Tuesday night in Germantown after a fight that started on a bus, and a 16-year-old suspect is in custody.
What’s Happening: Officers responded to the 2700 block of Sweet Shrub Drive around 8:13 p.m. Tuesday after the victim called 911 from a nearby grocery store. The stabbing followed an argument on a bus that turned into a physical fight with a group of juveniles the victim knew.
What’s Important: The victim suffered a non-life-threatening stab wound and was taken to a hospital. Officers searched the area and arrested a 16-year-old male. Police say there is no threat to the community.
Detectives from the 5th District Investigative Section are continuing to investigate.
