- Manuel Mateo-Molina, 20, of Temple Hills, died Tuesday after being struck by an SUV driver who fled the scene while he was riding an electric bicycle Monday in Prince George's County. No arrest has been announced.
- Baltimore County police are searching for 9-year-old Darionna Thornton, last seen at 4:03 p.m. Wednesday in the Woodlawn area.
- The New Carrollton City Council voted Wednesday to remove Mayor Phelecia Nembhard from office over allegations she hired staff in violation of a city hiring freeze. A mayor pro tem will assume the role while a special election is held within 60 days.
- A 13-year-old Baltimore County boy has died after being struck by a car while riding his bicycle last month in Lochearn. Caden Morgan was hit at the intersection of Essex Road and Yataruba Drive on Aug.
- Baltimore police are searching for the driver who struck and killed a 46-year-old pedestrian early Wednesday in the 400 block of East Patapsco Avenue in South Baltimore and fled the scene. Detectives with the Crash Team are investigating the hit-and-run.
- A 21-year-old Severn man suffered life-threatening injuries Tuesday night after the Audi he was driving failed to navigate a curve near Route 100 and Route 10 in Anne Arundel County, struck guardrails and a light pole, and caught fire. Witnesses pulled the driver from the burning vehicle before firefighters arrived; the Anne Arundel County Crash Reconstruction Team is investigating.
- A 21-year-old woman was airlifted to a trauma center and two others were hospitalized with serious injuries after a single-vehicle rollover crash in the 30900 block of Point Lookout Road in Mechanicsville early Wednesday. Firefighters had to cut the woman free from the vehicle before a state police helicopter transported her to University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center.
