A 21-year-old Baltimore man is charged with attempted murder after police say he shot two teenagers in separate incidents within five days of each other.

What happened: Donnell Thomas was arrested June 11 at a residence in the 400 block of North Port Street by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force, a unit that tracks down people wanted on warrants.

The two shootings: Police say Thomas shot a 15-year-old boy in the 600 block of North Patterson Park Avenue on June 6 at about 4:46 p.m. Five days later, on the afternoon of June 11, a 17-year-old boy was shot in the 400 block of Milton Avenue. Both teenagers survived.

The charges: Thomas faces two counts of first-degree attempted murder and is being held without bail at Central Booking. He is charged as an adult.

What we know about the victims: Officers found the 15-year-old in the 700 block of North Collington Avenue after the June 6 shooting. The 17-year-old was found in the 2400 block of Jefferson Street on June 11. Both were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

Still unknown: Police have not released information about a motive in either shooting or described any connection between the two victims.
