A vehicle flipped on the Harry W. Nice Memorial Bridge on Wednesday afternoon, sending one person to the hospital.
What’s Happening: Emergency crews responded to a rollover crash on the bridge near Newburg at 3:18 p.m. on March 4. The vehicle was found on its roof.
What’s Important: The people inside the vehicle got out before emergency workers arrived. The driver said his back hurt but did not go to the hospital. A 39-year-old woman was taken to UM Charles Regional Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.
What Happens Next: Police are investigating what caused the crash.
