Maryland residents dealing with insurance questions after recent severe weather can get help from state regulators next week.
What’s Happening: The Maryland Insurance Administration is hosting a free, one-hour virtual session Monday, July 27 from 1 to 2 p.m. for anyone with insurance questions related to recent storm damage. No registration is required.
How to Join: Residents can attend by Zoom at maryland-insurance.zoomgov.com/j/1651478589 or by calling (646) 828-7666 using webinar ID 165 147 8589. The session will also be available in Spanish.
What’s Important: The session is open to anyone, and the administration says residents do not need to register ahead of time.
How This Affects Real People: Residents who had property damaged in recent storms and are unsure how to file a claim, what to do if a tree fell on their property, or how to work with their insurer can bring those questions directly to state regulators during the session.
