A man was shot early Jan. 10 in Odenton and later died at a hospital, Anne Arundel County police said.

What’s Happening: Officers were called around 12:30 a.m. Jan. 10, to the 1600 block of Annapolis Road in Odenton for a report of a shooting. Police said they found a man with an apparent gunshot wound.

What’s Important: Fire department personnel treated the man at the scene and took him to Baltimore Washington Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Police identified him as 45-year-old Timothy Leslie Randolph of Baltimore.

What We Know: Detectives responded to the scene and took over the investigation. Police said the investigation is active and ongoing and that more information will be released as it becomes available.
