A 58-year-old Capitol Heights man was arrested at Wheaton Mall on Tuesday after police say he solicited a 16-year-old boy.

What Happened: Miguel Angel Torres-Manzanerez was arrested around 12:50 p.m. on March 3 after officers touring the mall’s security command center noticed what appeared to be two men arguing near the restrooms.

When officers arrived, they found Torres-Manzanerez with a 16-year-old boy. The boy told officers Torres-Manzanerez had asked if he could perform a sexual act on him. Torres-Manzanerez was charged with one count of sexual solicitation of a minor and is being held without bond at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit.

What’s Important: Police believe there may be other victims who have not come forward. Tips leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward ranging from $250 to $10,000.
