A fire at Patuxent Camp Sites in St. Leonard, Maryland, has displaced multiple families. The blaze, which started on December 30, involved at least six campers and multiple vehicles.

What’s Happening: At around 4:07 p.m., firefighters from the St. Leonard Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company were called to a trailer fire at Patuxent Camp Sites. When they arrived, the fire had already spread quickly through the campground.

What’s Important: The fire forced several families to leave the campground. Firefighter’s say no one was hurt. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.

The Big Picture: The St. Leonard Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company, along with help from other fire departments, worked to control the fire and keep everyone safe.
