Maryland residents searching for Super Bowl snacks are most interested in buffalo chicken dip, according to Google search data analyzed by Coffeeness, a coffee equipment review website.
What’s Happening: Coffeeness analyzed Google Ads Keyword Planner data from December 2024 through March 2025 to identify the most searched Super Bowl snacks across all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Buffalo chicken dip was the most searched popular snack in Maryland. Pico de gallo was the most searched healthy snack in Maryland.
What’s Important: Buffalo chicken dip was the most searched popular snack in 31 states, including Maryland. The dip is made with shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, and melted cheese. Pico de gallo, a fresh salsa made from diced tomatoes, onions, cilantro, jalapeño, and lime juice, was the most searched healthy snack in 14 states, including Maryland.
By the Numbers: Buffalo chicken dip typically contains 150 to 200 calories per serving. A single hard-boiled egg contains about 6 grams of protein and around 77 calories.
What the Data Shows: The study examined search volume data for game day snacks and categorized them based on nutritional profiles. For each state, Coffeeness identified the single highest-search-volume popular snack and the single highest-search-volume healthy snack. The data reflects search interest rather than actual consumption patterns.
