BALTIMORE — A man and woman died Wednesday morning after police found them shot inside a crashed car in East Baltimore.
What’s Happening: Police found the victims around 7 a.m. at East Monument and Ensor streets.
The driver and a 28-year-old woman in the passenger seat both had gunshot wounds. They died at the hospital.
What’s Important: Police have not said who shot them or why. No arrests have been made.
Between the Lines: An MTA bus was nearby but was not involved in the crash, according to an MTA spokesperson. Police initially thought the bus might have been part of the crash.
The Big Picture: This double killing adds to a violent week in Baltimore. At least six other people have been killed in the city since the weekend..
