ANNAPOLIS — Three 12-year-old girls singing Christmas carols in an Annapolis neighborhood ran for their lives Saturday night after a man pointed a loaded gun at them through his window.
What’s Happening: 58-year-old Paul Brian Susie faces assault charges after the incident at his home on Point No Point Drive around 9:10 p.m.
When the girls knocked on his door to announce they were caroling, Susie appeared at his bay window with a handgun drawn and pointed it directly at them. The girls ran several blocks away to safety.
What’s Important: Susie admitted to police that he pointed his gun at the children. Officers found a loaded .40-caliber Glock in a gun safe at his home.
While Susie had a valid Maryland gun permit, police say he had been drinking alcohol before the incident and was acting loud and aggressive when they talked to him.
